Exercise helps improve cardiovascular fitness. It helps build strong bones and muscles. Exercise can also help kids stay focused longer in school which can lead to better academic performance.
Obesity also affects a child's emotional health which can lead to behavioral problems. Behavior problems in children are on the rise. These children would benefit from more exercise. Exercise makes you feel good. When kids feel good, they make better choices. A child's learning and focus is improved. More movement during the school day is crucial for a child's well-being.
